Art is a subtle power that shifts the world one perception at a time. It allows us to MAKE the world not just inherit it.
It was an amazing art opening / weekend for our wonderful artist Anna Soghomonyan. We had a beautiful opening Friday evening followed by two days of nonstop visitors admiring her artwork. The art installations allowed our visitors to enter into Anna’s Tales, into the whimsical and colorful world of Anna.
The past year has been full of uncertainties and unease for most of us, and for all Armenians, it’s been triple the heartache with the war and so much loss. Art, once again, allowed us to see and notice the beauty of life, the ever-present mystery that helps humans survive the most challenging of times. In short, art functions as the conscience of society.
A big thanks to everyone who came to visit, who wrote and called, who purchased a beautiful artwork to take home or to gift to a loved one. A lot of positive energy went into creating and exhibiting the work. Anna is extremely happy and grateful for all the love and support. She was recognized by the California Senate for her contribution to the arts and for sharing her rich Armenian heritage with Californians.
Anna Annuk Soghomonyan is one of the most beautiful humans I’ve ever met. She thoroughly loves life and her art is an outcome, a creation of that. What a gift. Thank you, Anna! Also, big gratitude for our amazing friend Lilit Aleksanyan for her genuine and unconditional support. Support the arts, support artists! They are the soul of this life and what is life without a soul.
